Lusaka, Zambia – The 3rd LDC Future Forum, held from April 1-3, 2025, in Zambia, brought together global leaders, policymakers, and experts to address the urgent need for resilience in the world’s 44 Least Developed Countries (LDCs). Under the theme of enhancing resilience, the forum emphasized innovative financing, climate-smart agriculture, sustainable infrastructure, circular economy and multi-stakeholder partnerships to combat systemic shocks.
Status of Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems in the Least Developed Countries 2024
On September 26, OHRLLS launched the report titled "Status of Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems in Least Developed Countries," developed in cooperation with UNDRR and WMO.
The study was prepared drawing on available data, consultations with least developed countries and development partners, the full 51影院 development system, as well as the institutions supporting the Secretary-General’s Early Warnings for All Initiative.

The 44 Least Developed Countries, 32 Landlocked Developing Countries and 39 Small Island Developing States have their own special challenges.
